President and Founder, Sarit Marcus, created Minted Space with the goal of providing easy access and education to elevated eco-living through curated home furnishings, décor and lighting collections.
Sarit combined her depth of experience in environmental, health and philanthropic advocacy with her passion for the creative arts to realize her vision for Minted Space – a sustainable home & living store showcasing curated products that are responsibly sourced and mindfully made. Minted Space also offers residential and commercial environmental design consulting.
Sarit graduated with a BA in English from the University of Florida, and holds a Master of Public Policy degree with a concentration in environmental programs and policies from the University of Southern California. Sarit is certified by the U.S. Green Building Council as a LEED Green Associate in Interior Design and Construction.
Her diverse career in nonprofit work has included multi-sector project management and research for an international nonprofit healthcare foundation to spearheading a community awareness campaign and securing new facility funding for a women’s homeless shelter.
In the private sector, Sarit worked for five years at a boutique consulting firm specializing in business development, corporate social responsibility advising, philanthropic advising and government relations.
As the head of the firm’s environmental projects department, she managed many public-private partnerships including green-build retrofits, electric vehicle manufacturing and water-saving technology installations.
Sarit oversaw several public-private partnerships in education, environment and renewable technologies. Her diverse client portfolio included executives, philanthropists, entertainment artists and government liaisons. Sarit directed corporate social responsibility initiatives for clients and also advised on multi-million philanthropic donation initiatives.
Currently residing in Tampa, FL, Sarit previously lived and worked in New York City, Los Angeles, San Diego and Washington D.C..
